Congressman Burlison is a sixth-generation Missourian with 20 years of private sector experience as an investment advisor and software consultant. He is a 1995 graduate from Parkview High School in Springfield, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University. He was elected to represent Missouri’s 7th Congressional District in 2022. He previously represented the 20th Senatorial District, comprising of Christian County and part of Greene County, from 2019 to 2023. Before his election to the Missouri Senate, he represented the 133rd District in the Missouri House of Representatives. In his free time, Rep. Burlison enjoys hunting and fishing in the Ozarks. He and his wife, Angie, are active members of their church and passionate about supporting campus ministries. They live in Ozark, MO with their two daughters, Reese and Aubrey.

Representative Melanie Stinnett, a Republican, serves Greene County (District 133) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first term in November 2022. In addition to her legislative duties, Representative Stinnett is a healthcare executive and speech-language pathologist. Over the course of her career, she has combined clinical expertise with entrepreneurial leadership, having spent many years as a small business owner before transitioning to the non-profit sector to further her commitment to community service. A proud Bear, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Missouri State University. Representative Stinnett resides in Springfield with her husband, Nathan, and their two sons.
